Page 5Minerva N. Jellison was born in Lawrence county, Indiana, July 5, 1841 and died June 30, 1912, aged 70 years, 11 months and 25 days. She joined the Christian church in 1869, of which she has been a faithful member ever since. In 1869, she married Rev. P. W. Jellison, who died Jan. 11, 1899.
To this union were born three children, Alonzo, who died in infancy, Jesse, who died in 1904 and Corda, who resides in Baltimore. One sister, Mrs. Gilleran and one half brother, J. W. Johnson, still survive. Her daughter, Mrs. Schaub and her husband arrived last Friday. The funeral services were held yesterday at 9:00 a.m. from the Christian church, conducted by Rev. Graften and interment was made in the Worthington cemetery.
