Al Beerbower, who spent his boyhood days in Patterson, was killed a short time ago at his home in Dodge Center, Minnesota. His death was caused by the caving in of an oats bin.
Funeral services were conducted at the M. E. Church in Indianola last Thursday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lula Beerbower, and five children, his mother, Mrs. Ann Beerbower of Indianola, and sister, Mrs. Melissa DeWitt of Missouri, and brother, Harley Beerbower of Patterson.

Claremont, Minn., Sept. 9. — A. E. Beerbower, a famer living six miles northeast of here, was smothered on Tuesday under 700 bushels of oats when a bin gave way. Mr. Beerbower was dug out of the grain within 15 minutes but could not be revived. He had been prominent in community work and was president of the Farmers club of the Harmony district.
