David Fife, well known throughout this part of the county and at Saint Charles, his boyhood home, died Saturday evening at his home ten miles west of Winterset. Death was due to pneumonia, with which he was ill for about a week. Funeral services were held on Monday and burial at Worthington cemetery in Madison Township.

Dave Fife died Saturday night, after a short illness of a week from pneumonia. The funeral was held at the church Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock and interment made in the Worthington cemetery.
