Injured Man Dies

David Morris, Who Broke His Back in Fall From Wagon Two Months Ago, Expires in Hospital

Dave Morris, who was seriously injured by falling from a wagon while on his way home a couple of months ago, died at the Samaritan hospital at 5 o'clock this morning. Morris sustained a broken back in the fall and was taken to the hospital where he has since been cared for.

While driving home along the Perry creek road late one night Morris, who was in the employee of a Perry creek farmer fell from the wagon, striking upon his head and shoulders. The shock of the fall rendered him unconscious and he lay on the roadside until early next morning when he was discovered and the police ambulance telephoned for. The case was not at first considered serious, but within a few days after Morris had been brought to the hospital complications set in and since then his condition has been considered critical.

No arrangements as yet have been made for the funeral as the undertaker is waiting the arrival of relatives from Wisconsin.
