ANN COMPTON

After a lingering illness of more than a years, Mrs. Ann Compton, familiarly known as Aunt Ann passed away on Saturday, about four o'clock. The following sons are left to mourn the loss of a mother: Pad Compton of Stuart, Will of Chicago, Bert of Omaha, Milt of Dallas, Steve of Guthrie Center, Sylvanuh of Earlham, and Everett of Waterloo.

The Conservative Friends had charge of the funeral, and the body was laid to rest in the old cemetery east of town.
