Death of Judson Beerbower

Mr. Judson Beerbower, for many years a resident of this city, died at Corbett, Ore., May 26th, after a long continued illness. Mr. Beerbower was an exemplary citizen and a man who commanded the respect of all who knew him. A few weeks ago, realizing that he had not long to live, he expressed a wish to be brought back to Winterset that he might die in his old home, but death claimed him before the necessary arrangements were made.

His remains were cremated on the 29th, and all that remained of his mortal body was sent to his son Albert at Des Moines.
