Death of Nelson Campfield

Nelson Campfield, a former resident of this county, died in Des Moines on last Saturday.

Mr. Campfield’s father, Moses Campfield, was one of the early residents of Ohio township. About 40 years ago the family moved to Douglas township. Nelson Campfield engaged in the mercantile business and later came back to Winterset to clerk in the Aikins & Hardy shoe store.
