ANNA GILLIAM Of Peru Dies

Mrs. Anna E. Gilliam, a resident of the Peru community since 1915, died Wednesday, June 2, 1971, at Memorial hospital in Winterset. She was 84 years of age.

Mrs. Gilliam was the former Anna E. Hogue, daughter of Wesley and Francis Garst Hogue. She was born Aug. 8, 1884. She was married in 1904 to William Oliver Gilliam. His death occurred in 1963.

She was a member of the Foursquare church.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Lawrence DeLong of Winterset and a brother, Clyde Hogue of Des Moines.

Funeral services were held by the Rev. Charles Updike, pastor of the Winterset Foursquare church. Burial was made in Hartman cemetery.
