Friday, June 14, 2002Darlene W. Delka, 83, Versailles, died June 12, 2002, in Versailles.
She was born March 17, 1919, in Winterset, Iowa, a daughter of John W. and Mable G. Goodale Hertzog. She was married Nov. 29, 1937, in Steamboat Springs, Colo., to Raymond C. Delka, who died Aug. 30, 1973.
She was a homemaker and a member of Aurora Springs Baptist Church, Eldon.
Survivors include: one daughter, Donna Mae Walker, Caulfield; one brother, Robert Hertzog, Porterville, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. One daughter, Carlene Rae Delka, preceded her in death.
Private burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
