Friday, December 21, 2001Leslie N. Hincker, 82, of 1704 Lea Lane, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, at The Finley Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Private burial of the cremated remains will be in Linwood Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Egelhof, Siegert and Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, is in charge of arrangements.
She was born on May 31, 1919, in Winterset, Iowa, daughter of Clyde L. and Elsie E (Orris) Niblo. She married Charles D. Hincker on Sept. 29, 1941, in Dubuque; he died on Jan. 2, 1978.
Surviving are three sons, C. Douglas (Jo Ellen) Hincker, of Plymouth, Mich., Lawrence L. Hincker, of Dubuque, and Stephen A. Hincker, of Lincoln, Neb.; and a daughter, Cheryl (John) Schwind, of Dubuque.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter-in-law, Kay R. (Von Seggern) Hincker; and a sister, Helen Niblo.
In lieu of flowers, a Leslie N. Hincker Memorial Fund has been established.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ridgely and the staff at The Finley Hospital and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church for their care and compassion.
