JAMES FIELDS

James Fields, one of the inmates of the county farm, died Sunday at the age of 71 years. Mr. Fields was one of the early settlers of this county. On account of old age and failing health he was unable to provide for himself and was cared for by the county during the past two years.

Funeral services were held on Monday conducted by Rev. O. M. Pennock, and interment made in the Baptist cemetery.
