MARY S. WILLIFORD

Mary S. Williford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McMillen, was born in Miami County, Ohio, November 1st, 1854, and died near Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, March 23, 1907. She came with her parents to Illinois when she was but two years old and later in the year 1869 came with them to Iowa where she has since resided till the time of her death.

She was married to N. M. Williford and has since lived in the same house in which Mr. Williford was born.

She was for about a year and a half a great sufferer, and while she made the old home a visit since she became sick in the last year, she was unable to come, though her mother is an invalid and wanted so much to have seen her before she died.

She united with the Winterset Christian church under the labors of elder Fuller and later placed her membership with the Christian church in her own neighborhood. A letter from her husband states that she died in the triumphs of a living faith.

She leaves to mourn their loss, her father, who is in his ninety-first year, her mother, in her eighty-ninth year, one brother, three sisters, and many friends to remember her many kindly ways.
