Mrs. Robt. Bush, who has been suffering with Bright’s disease for the past few months, died at her home on the Joe Carter farm in Douglas township, Tuesday morning. The funeral occurred from the home Wednesday at 10 o’clock and interment took place at the Hooten cemetery.

Obituary

Margret Adaline Bowman was born May 14th, 1868. In 1882, was married to Wm. Pratt. To this union were born three children, two of whom survive her. In 1886 she was married to Robert Bush. To them were born eight children, six of whom survive her.

In 1895 she united with the Christian church of Peru, and was still a member at the time of her death. She died at her home eight miles north west of Winterset, Oct. 17th, 1905.

The services were held at the house conducted by Rev. E. E. Bennett of the Christian church, and the remains were laid to rest in the Hooten cemetery.
