Winterset, IowaMildred Agan Died Thursday
Mrs. Mildred Agan of Winterset, a Madison County resident for 55 years, died Thursday, Aug. 31, at Memorial Hospital here. She was 75 years of age.
Mrs. Agan was the former Mildred Cooper, daughter of Pearl and Louie Hickock Cooper. She was born in Marion County May 24, 1897. She was married at Attica on Nov. 17, 1915, to Wesley R. Agan. His death occurred in 1952.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Everett Agan of Peru; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A daughter, Marguerita, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Saturday from the Collins Funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. Richard Hempenlus of Truro. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
