On last Saturday, June 3d, occurred the funeral of the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Chase. The cause of the death was a complication of whooping cough and lung fever. Rev. Matheney conducted the exercises and the burial was in the Worthing cemetery. Other members of the family are quite unwell, especially Mr. Chase. They have the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.

Jessie, the 14 months old child of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Chase, died Friday morning. Her death was due to a complication of lung fever and whooping cough. She was buried Saturday at Worthington, Rev. Matheny of Winterset, officiating.
