Graveside services for Veretta Arelene Tutton, 57, of Chicago Ill, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at the St. Charles Cemetery with Rev. David Livingston officiating. Mrs. Tutton died Sunday, April 29, at the Henrotin Hospital in Chicago.
Born in Jefferson, Iowa on May 9, 1921, she was the daughter of Joseph Logan and Anna Lora Johnston Kinnaird.
On February 28, 1972, she was married to Kenneth Tutton, who survives her, in Chicago.
A hotel cashier she had lived in Detroit before moving to Chicago about 30 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Also surviving are a brother, George Kinnaird of Winterset, two nieces and a nephew.
