Mrs. Michael Connery died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Michael McNamara of this township on the evening of January 20th. She was one of the oldest settlers of this township, having reached the age of eighty-six years and attained good health nearly always up to about a week before she died, when she was suddenly taken ill. Her funeral service was held in the Catholic church in Cummings on Jan. 22d and her remains laid to rest in the St. Patrick cemetery, followed by a large number of relatives and friends who sympathize much with the mourners.
