H. A. LITTLE

H. A. Little died last Sunday at the home of his son, Dr. Little, in Patterson. Mr. Little was seventy-six years old. He was a cousin of W. W. McKnight of this city. The remains were taken to Des Moines for interment.

Hiram N. Little was born in Washington county, Indiana, and afterwards moved to Hendricks county where he grew to manhood. He came to Iowa in 1856. He lived at Oskaloosa for several years and there was married to Mary E. Thompson, who with four children survive him. They afterwards moved to Des Moines which continued to be his home until about one year ago when he came to Patterson to make his home with his son, Dr. Burton D. Little where he passed away September 1st, surrounded by his four sons and other loved ones.

The remains were taken to Des Moines and the funeral services were held in the West Minister Presbyterian church, of which the deceased had been a member for the past nineteen years and interment made in Woodland cemetery.
