J. Ernest Breeding, Sr., 68, 779 Acacia Ave., Melbourne Village, died Sunday. Born in St. Charles, Iowa, he was a winter resident from Norwalk, Iowa, since 1980.

He was a retired machinist.

Survivors: wife, Leta A.; sons, J. Ernest Jr., Melbourne, Carman, Little Rock, Ark.; stepsons, Jimie Damron, Coronado, Calif., Robert Damron, Springdale, Ark., Jack Damron, Wichita, Kan.; stepdaughter, Joyce Bonnett, Duncanville, Texas; brother, Carman, Altoona, Iowa; sister, Suzy Martin, St. Charles; 16 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren.
