Mrs. Jane Reed was brought from near Winterset to Fairview for burial last Saturday.

Correspondence - West Union

Mrs. Reed, an aged lady, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cox, in Douglas township last Thursday with pneumonia. Her death was quite unexpected, as she was sick but a few days. She was buried at Fairview, Saturday.
