ISABEL SAWHILL, GEORGIA

Isabel E. Sawhill, 85, of Athens, Ga., died Oct. 24, 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Lord and Stephens (WEST) Funeral Home in Athens, Ga. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint, Mich. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Humane Society.

Isabel Sawhill was the daughter of the late Elgin and Cora Lynch. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Lloyd G. Sawhill; a number of nieces and nephews; and an extended family in Winterset. Besides her parents, Isabel was preceded in death by an infant son and a sister, Evelyn Wood.
