On Friday morning, Mrs. Ed Carter who is well known at Kasson, started a fire with gasoline, the can exploded frightfully burning Mrs. Carter about the body and face. Everything that medical skill could do was done to save her life but she died on Saturday afternoon. Her funeral was held in Lorimor Sunday, Rev. Elliot conducting the funeral services.

Note: Burial was made in the Lorimor cemetery.
