Another old resident passed to the other green shore Monday at midnight. Mrs. Earl died at the residence of her son, M. Earl. She has been a long, yet patient sufferer, but has gone to a land where sorrow and pain are unknown, where no clouds darken the sky, or friends bid farewell. The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the house.

Mrs. Earl departed this life May 6th at the age of 81 years. Her remains were laid to rest in the Young cemetery, Tuesday, Rev. Creger of Peru conducted the funeral services. She was a kind lady and respected by all.
