St. Charles and RoundaboutMiss Sadie, the fifteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Nichol, three miles southeast of St. Charles, died quite suddenly on Friday evening, and was buried in the St. Charles cemetery on Saturday. She had been a slight sufferer from sore throat for a number of days, which developed into diphtheria and destroyed her young life. She was a dutiful daughter, a loving sister and gave promises of becoming a good and useful woman. The entire community mourns with the bereaved relatives.
