The remains of John Schemerhorn were brought here from Council Bluffs Friday and brief exercises held from the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Cherry on Saturday. Mr. Schemerhorn was in the job printing business in Council Bluffs and for a number of years was the proprietor of the Nonpariel at that place. His remains were laid beside those of his step-son James Stokes, who died by suicide in Omaha a number of years ago.
