Mrs. Norvilla Turk, died at her home in the north part of town last Friday. Funeral services were held Sunday and her body was laid to rest beside that of her husband at Blair Chapel, near Patterson.

Mrs. Turk was born in Indiana, in the year 1852. She was the daughter of John S. Holmes. She married Mr. Turk in 1890, and to them was born two daughters. She was left a widow seven years ago. She became a Christian in her early life and united with the Baptist church. She was called to her heavenly home Feb. 15th in the morning. Mrs. Turk was one of God’s noble women, always a loving daughter and a faithful wife, as a mother there were few like her in kindness and devotion to her children. Four brothers and four sisters and her two little children, together with a host of friends mourn the loss of so kind a woman.
