Last Saturday evening James Gill of Lee township was found dead near a water tank in a field near his residence. Mr. Gill had eaten his dinner and complained of nothing unusual. He went into the field and when it came time for supper he did not appear. One of the household sent in search of him and found him as above stated. Coroner Martin, who happened to be in the vicinity was notified but after hearing the particulars did not think an inquest necessary.
