After many months of lingering illness, effects of consumption, Mrs. Effie Williamson, of this city, passed quietly to rest on Saturday morning. Her funeral occurred from the Church of Christ on Sunday forenoon. Rev. Wright, of Knoxville, a pastor of that church to which the deceased belonged, delivered the funeral discourse. The attendance was very large. To mourn her untimely death there remains her husband, her only child—a son of nine years of age—her mother, (Mrs. Minerva Colton, of St. Charles,) and several sisters. She was an excellent and highly respected lady.
