Page 1, Column 7Following an attack of Bright’s disease, the death of Charles Wesley Riggs, aged 58 years, occurred at his home near Patterson on June 25th. Mr. Riggs was a nephew of D. T. Miles of this city and had resided in Polk County and Des Moines until six years ago, when he moved to Madison county.
Surviving him are his wife, mother, two sisters and three brothers, all of whom were present at the funeral with the exception of one brother, residing in Vancouver.
Rev. B. B. Mur--- conducted burial services Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock at the family residence, with interment in Des Moines.
