Died, June 5th, Mrs. Joe Miller, after an illness of 30 hours with inflammation of the stomach. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. J. C. Hall at the home of the deceased. She was 49 years of age, a good Christian woman and a member of the M.E. church.

She leaves a husband, a son, a daughter and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
