Mrs. Margaret Howell, aged 74 years, who with her husband, Aaron Howell, settled in this county in the early fifties, died at her home, northeast of Patterson, on Tuesday last.

Mrs. Aaron Howell, who has for many years been a dweller in this community and has for a few weeks been very ill, passed from the trials of this life into the realms beyond.

The funeral services were held at the home of Lanson Howell, the abiding place of the deceased for several years past. Rev. Hancox conducting the services.

Mrs. Howell Dead

Mrs. Margaret Howell died at the home of her son, Lansing Howell, near Patterson Sunday evening. She was the wife of Aaron Howell who died many years ago and has lived on the old homestead on which she died almost since the county has been settled. She was 75 years old.

Mrs. Howell was widely known in Madison county and her death will be learned with sorrow in many homes.
