CARL JOSEPH FOLLOWWILL, St. Charles

Services for Carl Joseph Followwill, 32, rural St. Charles, who died Dec. 4, 1985, at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center, were held Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Jay Graham officiating. Burial was at Union Chapel (South) Cemetery.

Born in Winterset May 8, 1953, he was the son of Charles and Irene Harper Followwill. He engaged in farming and was a lifetime resident of the area. In 1971, Mr. Followwill graduated from Interstate 35 High School.

Survivors include his mother, of St. Charles; a brother, David of Independence, Mo.; sisters, Mae Graeve of Des Moines, LaVonne Van Winkle of Spring, Texas, Norma Adams of Pasenda, Texas, Rose Crawford of Cameron, Texas and Mary Belle Hill of Norwalk.

His father preceded him in death on Oct. 5, 1980.
