MRS. MINNIE GREGORY RITES HELD SUNDAY

Mrs. Minnie Gregory, a native of Scott township and a longtime resident of the community died at Adel last Friday. She was 71 years of age.

Mrs. Gregory was the former Minnie Bowlsby, daughter of Benjamin F. Bowlsby, a pioneer settler of Scott township and a Civil War veteran. In 1898 she was married to Sherman Gregory. About 25 years ago they moved to Des Moines, living there until moving to Adel recently to make their home with their son, Curtis Gregory who is county attorney of Dallas county.

In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by a niece Velma Weyrauch, whom she reared, and several sisters and brothers.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Methodist church in Adel, and burial was made in the cemetery there.
