Page 2Mrs. Kate Penfield died at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. Gaekel, Sunday morning at 5 o’clock.
Kate Huglin was born in Baden, Germany, March 16, 1848, came to Iowa in 1855 and resided in Madison county up to the time of her death. She was buried at Blair Chapel, Monday June 12.

Kate A. Huglin was born in Baden, Germany, March 16, 1848, and came to Madison county with her parents in 1854. She was a daughter of Joachim and Frederica Huglin, both deceased.
She died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Andrew Gaekle, of Winterset, Sunday morning, June 11, 1899, at 5 o’clock. She leaves two brothers and three sisters to mourn her loss. She was buried at Blair Chapel, beside her mother, June 12.
