L. H. SCHOONOVER
L. H. Schoonover, living five miles south of the city died of paralysis Sunday. Burial occurred in the St. Charles cemetery the following day. Mr. Schoonover was a man well liked, a kind father and a faithful Christian.

Thursday, August 18, 1904At his home in Ohio township, on Sunday evening at seven o’clock Leonard H. Schoonover departed this life. He was in his sixty-second year and until recently had been in robust health but on the 6th inst. was overtaken by a stroke of paralysis, which in its severity terminated in death.
He was a native of West Virginia, was a man of intelligence, an honest and industrious gentleman and a devout Christian.
Funeral at the M.E. church in St. Charles on Monday afternoon.
