Gary “Buck” Rogers, 62, of Grimes died Jan. 1, 2009, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, Jan. 6, at the First Christian Church in Winterset. Memorial contributions may be directed to his family. Arrangements were handled by Brooks Funeral Care in Clive.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lou Rogers.

Gary is survived by his wife, Jeannie; a son, Troy; his mother, Esther Mae Hircock Felton Rogers; and three brothers, Keith Felton, Kenny Felton and Randy Rogers.

Gary was a member of Union 234.

Gary "Buck" Rogers, 62, passed away on January 1, 2009, at Mercy Hospice in Johnston, IA.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2009, at First Christian Church, Winterset, IA. Visitation will start one hour prior to service time.

Gary loved to play pool, cards and he loved to travel, especially to Texas. Gary was a wonderful man.

He was a member of Union # 234.

Gary will be missed by his wife, Jeannie; son, Troy; his mother, Esther Mae Hircock Felton Rogers; brothers, Keith (Melody) Felton, Kenny (Sheryl) Felton and Randy (Marci) Rogers; several nieces and nephews; and his uncles, Carl Hircock and Roger Hircock.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lou Rogers.

Memorials are suggested to Gary's family.
