Obituary

Alice Stocking of Santa Fe Springs, California died of cancer February 16, 1978 at the Downey Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born January 19, 1920 in North Dakota but lived most of the first 17 years of her life in Earlham, then moving to California where she married and raised a family.

Surviving are her husband, Fay; three daughters, Linda Frye, Nancy Morgan and Kathy Herron; one son Jim and four grandchildren, all of California. Also three brothers, Charles of Indianola, Earl of Durango, Colorado, John of Des Moines, and one sister Kay Trimble of Corydon.

Funeral services were held February 21 with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.
