Death of Oscar Snyder

Word has come here of the death of Oscar Snyder of Los Angeles. A telegram received by Des Moines relatives last Friday was sent on to cousins in Winterset. Mmes. Charles Koser, Mary Couch, Myles Young Jr, and Fred Mardis, and Warren Snyder.

Oscar Snyder’s father, Hardesty was a brother of the late Samuel Snyder, whose children above named, still live in Winterset.

The deceased, who was about 68 years old, had lived in Oneal, Neb., until the death of his wife. Then he removed to Los Angeles. His death comes as a great shock to his Winterset relatives, who recall him in excellent health when he spent a day with them last summer. The news of Mr. Snyder’s death will be a sad thought to his many old friends in this county.
