JIM SAWHILL, MITCHELLVILLE

Jim Sawhill, 44, of Mitchellville and formerly of Winterset, died Oct. 23, 2008, in Lansing, Mich.

A private burial of the cremated remains will take place at a later date in Eppard Cemetery, Jackson Township, Madison County. Memorials may be directed to Jim’s family in care of his father, John Sawhill. Online condolences may be sent to the family at ochiltree.com.

Jim Sawhill was born Aug. 27, 1964, in Winterset to John and Annette (Eckhardt) Sawhill. He was a 1982 graduate of Winterset High School. Jim worked as a truck driver for most of his career and was most recently employed by the Imperial Sugar processor in Mitchellville.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, John, of Lorimor; one son, Zachary Anderson of Des Moines; and two brothers, Mark Sawhill of Jefferson and Andrew Sawhill of Creston.
