DeWITT, Iowa -- Services for Ralph R. LeMar, of DeWitt, formerly of Route 1, Camanche, will be 3 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Camanche. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. today at Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory, Clinton. Mr. LeMar died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1999, at West Wing Place, DeWitt.
He farmed near Camanche from 1940 to 1976. He also was employed as a mechanic in the Des Moines area and as an independent trucker in highway construction for several years. He was born May 6, 1898, in Earlham. He married Anna Passig in 1926 in Clinton. She died in 1978. Memorials may be made to the church. Survivors include a son, Ralph L. Jr., Camanche; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ralph Royal LeMar, 101, of DeWitt, died of a heart ailment Tuesday at West Wing Place there. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Camanche. Mr. LeMar was born in Earlham and had lived in Camanche before moving to De Witt. He was a retired farmer. Snell-Zoring Funeral Home in Clinton is handling arrangements.
