Rosemary Poffenberger passed away Monday August 4, 2008. Memorial mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, August 7 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Adel, with burial of Rosemary’s cremated remains at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dallas Center. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel where family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
Rosemary was born November 13, 1931 to James and Marie Sheehy.
She is survived by daughters Teresa (Jeff) Amis of Kansas City and Barb Haffner of Adel; son Mark (Lisa) of Earlham; seven grandkids – Mallory, Andrew, Brett, Matthew, Lucas, Angela, and William; sisters Janice, Edine, and Sharon, and brother Raymond.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Kenneth and three brothers.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. John’s Catholic Church.
