Michael McGlone, of Crawford township, died Saturday last of heart failure. He was almost seventy-five years old. The funeral was held Monday and the remains were laid to rest in the St. Patrick cemetery.

Michael McGlone died on Friday evening, the 3d inst., and was buried on Monday in St. Patrick's cemetery in Lee township.

Mr. McGlone was one of the old settlers of this part of Iowa, having lived here since 1857. he was a good neighbor and an honest and industrious man. May he rest in peace.
