Death from a Rattlesnake’s Bite.

A 13-year-old boy named Bell, the son of G. W. Bell, died yesterday from the effects of a rattlesnake’s bite which he received last Monday while working on the farm of Jim Rhyno, of South township. He was cleaning out a fence corner, when he disturbed the snake, which struck its fangs in his foot. No remedies were at hand, and the boy ran for home, but before anything could be done for him the poison had so permeated his system that he was beyond recovery, though he lived for about twenty-four hours. He was buried today.

Note: Burial was made in the Sayre cemetery.
