Carl Edgar Childers died Feb. 15, 1902, at his father-in-laws, Mr. John Garlinger of Madison county, Iowa. He was born June 15, 1873, and was 29 years and 8 months old. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. He has had a long spell of sickness. His death was caused from a sun stroke.

The funeral occurred Sunday, February 16, by Rev. P. N. McDowell.

The bereaved families desire to express their thankfulness for favors of friends and neighbors.
