Died, May 28, 1897, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. George Williams. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Wicks at 3 o’clock p.m. the following day. What a pang of sorrow sweeps over the hearts of the bereaved father and mother whose jewel above price has been laid beneath the daisies. All that loving hands could do was done, but to no avail. And with crushed hearts they have lain their beautiful baby away till the bright morning of eternity. And who shall speak of the brightness on which the eyes of their darling have opened, where the trees drop down their fragrant dews to the grand hymn of “Glory to God in the Highest.”
