Died.—Last Thursday Mr. J. M. Weede, living near St. Charles, died. His death was very sudden and unexpected and caused much sorrow in the community. St. Charles and vicinity has been undergoing a trying ordeal the past few weeks. Many are the old citizens who have passed into the great beyond. Among them are: John McCandless, T. W. Simmons, J. M. Weede, J. S. Avey and Mrs. T. F. Hoff. It is a dark, sad time for that community, but the cloud, like all others, doubtless has a silver lining.
