A daughter of Mr. John Roy, who lives near the Hooten school house, in Lincoln township, died yesterday, or at an early hour this morning. The funeral was held today, the interment being at the Hooten cemetery.

Ivy Roy, daughter of John Roy, of Lincoln township, died last Monday night. She had been in failing health the past summer. She was buried on Wednesday forenoon, the funeral taking place at the Hooten school house.

Notwithstanding the weather was disagreeable and cold, a large procession followed the remains to the cemetery. It seemed as though the whole township had turned out. Those who were acquainted with Miss Roy speak highly of her, and her parents have the sympathy of the entire community.
