Warren Dorrell, the son of Wils Dorrell, died at Des Moines this week, and the remains were brought here for burial last night, the funeral taking place this morning. Warren was one of several Winterset boys who joined the regular army several years ago. His death was caused by typhoid fever.

Died.—Warren Dorrell, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Dorrell, at Des Moines, Wednesday, August 12th. The remains were brought to this city Thursday and interred in the city cemetery.

Deceased was born in Winterset in 1874, and had lived most of his life here. He had just recently received an honorable discharge from three years and three months’ service in the regular army. He was taken with typhoid fever at Cedar Rapids and started home, but died in Des Moines.
