An old lady by the name of Fredrickson, living in the old Boyd property, died Saturday morning. She had a son under treatment in the hospital at Des Moines, a dispatch was sent to him of the death of his mother. The news was too much for his failing physical condition, and he is not expected to survive.

Mrs. Ocke Fredrickson, died at her home in southwest Winterset Saturday, the 14th, and the funeral services were held in the Baptist church Tuesday at 11 a.m., after which the remains were interred in the Winterset cemetery. Mrs. Fredrickson was a lady about 75 years of age and leaves a husband and several children behind her.
