Little ROBERT SPENCER Meets Sad Death

Little Robert Spencer died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spencer of Carlisle on March 15th, 1916. The child, not quite two years of age, while eating peanuts, choked on a nut. All efforts of the parents and the local physician failed to give the baby relief, and he was hurried to the Methodist hospsital in Des Moines but too late.

The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Spencer of Pitzer; also Mrs. H. H. Finney, went to Carlisle on Thursday morning, returning Friday morning with the body.

Funeral services were held at the Spencer home at Pitzer Saturday morning, Rev. W J. Stewart conducting, with interment in the cemetery in that vicinity.
